All students are required to read at least one just-right chapter book. There will be an assignment on that book when students return to class in the fall. Information about the Summer Reading Challenge is at the bottom of this page.
Summer Reading Challenge
During the summer months of 2023, Quinn Middle School is providing students with an opportunity to keep their brains active and possibly even earn prizes!
Jr. Hawks Summer Reading Challenge: This year, all students are required to read at least one book (there will be a grade for this when you return to school in the fall). All books read should be ones you haven't read before.
Students are required to read at least one just right book over the summer. There will be a grade on this (separate from the Summer Reading Challenge) when they return to school in the fall.
Math
This summer students should be using the ALEKS program to help prevent any "summer slide" in math skills. On ALEKS, you can complete the work assigned and use the videos and examples to understand more of the grade level topics. Push yourself to complete the pIE to 100%. Good Luck!
